This blog was created to help caregivers everywhere. But what is a caregiver? The caregiver definition by the Webster’s dictionary is “a person who provides direct care”. Growing up, your family may have been your main caregivers; mom, dad, sibling, or grandparents. Now, it may be you that has turned into the caregiver for a family of your own, or for your parents or grandparents. If your family member has become your responsibility, you might think you are in a little over your head. This is a place where you are able to learn more about this new world of care giving. You might be an in home caregiver, having a parents or loved one move back in with you. If you find that caregiver support groups aren’t quite working, this blog is here for you to read and comment. The blog is broken down into different areas that you are able to view. You are able to look at blog posts that are directed towards; adaptive clothing, care giving as well as post directed to specific health conditions. This is more than just clothing, we want to help you figure out every detail you might need. This is a taking action network, giving you advice of things that you can do to help your loved one with disabilities or simply those that are aging and might need help.
