How to Put on a Hospital Gown:

  1. Undo the gown.
  2. Dress from a standing, seated or reclining position.
  3. Place arms easily into the gown sleeves.
  4. Draw the gown up to the shoulders.
  5. The Generous overlap wraps around the back or may be left open.
  6. Snap closures on each shoulder are snapped into place.
  • Reclining individuals may be rolled over or lifted at the shoulders.
  • Shoulder snaps avoid uncomfortable pressure points unlike tie back gowns.
