Morton's Neuroma or intermetatarsal neuroma can feel like you have a rock between your toes, or it can extend to pain all over the ball of your foot. In some cases even numbing can occur in the ball of the foot or a burning pain. Silvert's provides comfortable footwear solutions to help ease your feet problems. Help ease your Neuroma from by wearing footwear that will aid in fixing it, not worsen. Staying away from narrow toe boxes or tight shoes and moving to wide toe boxes will help ease pain and prevent further injury. Silvert's provides slippers with cushioning for indoors so your foot never has to come in contact with the hard floor. This way your foot can be protected whether you are inside or outside. With added cushioning to help with immediate pain and wide adjustable options to ensure that you can recover is what Silvert's does best!
Morton's Neuroma:
Morton's neuroma is a condition of pain in the ball of your foot. The ball of your foot is the part of your foot that is just under the toes. It is most commonly affected in the area between your third and fourth toes. It's the thickening of the tissue around the nerve tissue between these two toes. This will put pressure on the nerve and depending on how severe the condition is you will either feel pain in between those two toes or it can spread to pain all over the ball of your foot. In some cases you will feel numb in that area or all over the ball of your foot.
SHOE INSERTS: Silvert's has created shoes with removable insoles if you need to have a special insert for your condition, these are sometimes created to help the nerves that lead to the rest of the foot and from causing permanent injury to the nerves. Silvert's insoles are also made with extra cushioning which in some cases can reduce pain in the ball of your foot. Silvert's inserts have great padding, along with arch support and extra heel cushioning to ensure that the rest of your foot can be comfortable. Because Morton's neuroma is a condition that happens to the ball of your foot, pressure is often transferred from the ball of your foot to the heel. With this added pressure to your heel, it is important to give it extra cushioning as well to prevent any foot pain from occurring in that area. With wider widths and deep toe boxes you could simply add to the existing insole and still have room for your foot. If you receive a half pad for your shoe, you can still easily place the added cushioning to one area of your foot. For stability of the extra pad, try taking the original insole out and placing the pad underneath the insole. This will keep the pad in place and not let it slide around or curl to the front of your foot when you put your shoes on.
WIDE TOEBOX: Often if you are wearing a shoe with a narrow toe box it will force your toe together causes added pain to the affected nerve. A narrow toe box can also begin to cause more foot problems, which in turn will make it harder to take care of just one area. A wide toe box will allow for the feet to spread out therefore causing less pain. For this condition, risk factors are shoes that are too tight, so having a wide toe box will ensure that your shoe is not too tight, and can move freely to reduce any stabbing pain. If you require any bandaging as a part of your recovery process, a deep toe box and wide openings will allow your feet so slide easily into your footwear. This is why Silvert's provides both wide and deep toe box options, to ensure that your foot will have room to heal.
CUSHIONING: Cushioning will help with any sharp pains, having cushioning all throughout the shoe, especially on the ball of your foot will help with any daily pain. It will also help allow you to put pressure on the injured nerve tissue and soft tissue. Silvert's also offers slippers to help relieve pain when indoors. Slippers are made with more comfortable materials but still offer memory foam and easy touch closures for complete adjustability. Morton's neuroma can be caused by high-impact sports, in this case having a second pair of shoes aside from your sports shoes are important to allow your feet to rest and heal from the sports shoes in question.
Morton's neuroma is often treated by putting arch support and foot pads inside of the shoe to provide comfort to the affected area. Silvert's creates deep and wide toe boxes to allow for the added support into the shoe without causing the shoe to be too small or any rubbing, in order to keep your feet safe in the long term. Some lifestyle changes that have been known to help is icing your feet, anti-inflammatory medicine, taking a break or changing your footwear. Finally, surgical treatment can also heal morton's neuroma. Let Silvert's help with those options with a conservative treatment by changing your footwear to footwear that you know will help reduce pain and allow your foot and toes to heal.
Silvert's Best Footwear for Morton's Neuroma is rated 4 stars by real customers' reviews. We hope that you will find our customer review stars helpful.
