Why Adaptive Clothing and Footwear in Geriatrics?

Some of the most common illnesses and ailments that we encounter in geriatric medicine affect limb strength, balance, muscle strength and incontinence management. As we age, these bodily changes can greatly affect our ability to do basic activities of daily living, like getting dressed, going to the bathroom and general mobility.

Adaptive clothing and footwear is designed to simplify these tasks, and to help you, your loved one or your caregiving team navigate this new stage of life. For instance our magnetic button tops make it easier to get dressed with Arthritis, while our open back pants means your loved one does not have to stand up, or be lifted by caregivers, to be transferred from bed to bathroom.
