Cookies Information

Silverts uses cookies to keep track of what products you've added to your cart so you can order them online.

By default, most web browsers will handle these fine. But on stricter privacy settings or in locked-down facilities, cookies may be disabled. Here's how you can turn them back on.

Enabling cookies

Please choose your browser from the options below and follow the instructions:

Internet Explorer Internet Explorer

  1. If you are using Windows 8, follow the Internet Explorer for Windows 8 instructions.

    Click the gear icon to the right of the tab bar, and move your pointer to Internet Options and click again. This opens the Internet Options dialog.

  2. Click on the Privacy tab. Within this tab's Settings section, click the Sites button. This will open a dialog labelled Per Site Privacy Actions.

  3. In the text box labelled Address of Web site, type silverts.com. Click Allow. silverts.com should appear in the Domain column of the grid labelled Managed Web sites. Click OK to close this dialog.

  4. Click OK to save your settings.

Internet Explorer for Windows 8 Internet Explorer for Windows 8

  1. If you are using Windows 7 or 10, follow the Internet Explorer 9 instructions.

    Swipe from the right edge of the screen or move your pointer to the top left corner of the screen. Click/tap the gear icon labelled Settings, then click/tap Internet Options. This opens the Internet Options dialog.

  2. Click on the Privacy tab. Within this tab's Settings section, click the Sites button. This will open a dialog labelled Per Site Privacy Actions.

  3. In the text box labelled Address of Web site, type silverts.com. Click Allow. silverts.com should appear in the Domain column of the grid labelled Managed Web sites. Click OK to close this dialog.

  4. Click OK to save your settings.

Microsoft Edge Microsoft Edge

  1. Click/tap the three horizontal dots to the right of the address bar, and click/tap Settings. This opens the Settings sidebar.

  2. Scroll down to Advanced Settings and click/tap View advanced settings.

  3. Scroll down to Cookies, under Privacy and services, and choose Don't block cookies or Block only third party cookies.

  4. Click/tap anywhere else on the page to save your settings and close the settings sidebar.

Mozilla Firefox Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the menu on the far right, and move your pointer to Options (the gear icon) and click again. This opens the Options dialog.

    If you cannot find it, look for Preferences (the gear icon) instead.

    If neither option is visible:

    • Windows users:

      Tap the "Alt" key on your keyboard, then click the Tools menu, move your pointer to Options.. and click again.

    • Mac users:

      Click the Firefox menu at the top of the screen, and move your pointer to Preferences... and click again.

    • Linux users:

      Tap the "Alt" key on your keyboard, then click the Edit menu, move your pointer to Preferences... and click again.

  2. Click on Privacy & Security. Under History, ensure that Firefox will Remember history or Use custom settings for history. If custom settings are enabled, continue. Otherwise, click OK to save your settings.

  3. Under Cookies and Site Data, click on the Manage Permissions... button.

  4. In the text box labelled Address of web site, type https://www.silverts.com. Click Allow. https://www.silverts.com should appear in the Site column below. Click Save Changes to remove this dialog.

  5. Close the tab.

Safari Safari

  1. Click the Safari menu at the top of the screen, and move your pointer to Preferences... and click again.

  2. Click on the Privacy icon. Beside the label Cookies and website data:, ensure that either Always allow or Allow from sites I visit is selected.

  3. Close the preferences dialog.

Google Chrome Google Chrome

  1. Click the menu at the far right, move your pointer to Settings and click again.

  2. Click on Show advanced settings. Under Privacy, click on the Content settings... button. Under Cookies, click Allow local data to be set.

  3. Close the tab.

Opera Opera

  1. Click the Opera menu, then click Settings. This opens the Settings tab.

  2. Under Cookies, ensure that either Allow local data to be set or Keep local data only until I quit my browser is selected.

  3. Close the Settings tab.
